Department 16 encompasses more than 72 Costco buildings across Northern California, extending from Eureka through the Central Valley to Fresno, and includes three buildings in Northern Nevada, reflecting a broad, multi-market regional footprint.
Costco’s California operations are organized into distinct regional markets, including Northern California, Los Angeles, and San Diego, each with independent purchasing and distribution structures. Distribution approaches are aligned with the requirements and compliance frameworks of each region.
Manzanita Creek Winery has also worked directly with Trader Joe’s, which operates on a direct-to-producer purchasing model and does not utilize intermediary distributors.
