“Sonoma County Production Winery”

Distribution

Manzanita Creek Winery distributes through a combination of direct retail relationships and third-party wholesale distribution, selected based on market structure, regulatory requirements, and volume efficiency.

The winery maintains a long-standing direct relationship with Costco Wholesale, supplying wine to the San Francisco Bay Area, Department 16 (Northern California) for approximately 17 years. Department 16 encompasses more than 72 Costco buildings across Northern California, extending from Eureka through the Central Valley to Fresno, and includes three buildings in Northern Nevada, reflecting a broad, multi-market regional footprint.

Costco’s California operations are organized into distinct regional markets, including Northern California, Los Angeles, and San Diego, each with independent purchasing and distribution structures. Distribution approaches are aligned with the requirements and compliance frameworks of each region.

Manzanita Creek Winery has also worked directly with Trader Joe’s, which operates on a direct-to-producer purchasing model and does not utilize intermediary distributors.

For markets that require licensed wholesale distribution—particularly in Southern California—Manzanita Creek Winery works with third-party distribution partners in accordance with state and regional regulatory requirements.

Distribution models are selected to support pricing discipline, regulatory compliance, and efficient movement of product at scale.
