Dark, brooding, inky color. On the nose, lots of dark fruit - principally blackberry preserves - with a nuance of mint. Highlights of toasty barrel notes culminating with a dash of cracked, black pepper. On the palate it is rich and mouth filling, smooth with a prolonged and engaging finish.
Cuvée of every Zinfandel Vineyard we harvest in Sonoma County [BLENDED TO PERFECTION]. The Blend: 80% Zinfandel, 6% Merlot, 3.5% Malbec, 2% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1.5% Petite Sirah [ Cab Franc, Sangiovese, Syrah, Barbara, Petite Verdot, Carignan and Alicante] constitue the remaining 7%
