We used traditional Burgundian techniques of hand picking and sorting, followed by whole-cluster pressing. Primary fermentation took place in stainless steel, malolactic fermentation finished on 10% new French oak, resulting in perfect balance and structure.
Tasting Notes
Fantozzi Chardonnay is a delightful Semi fruity balanced lightly oaked somewhat buttery wine from Sonoma's Carneros growing region... fun to drink and a great every day sipper. Nice aromas of Apple and Pear with a hint of buttered toast. Good mouth feel and acidity with a smooth lingering finish.

Winemaker Notes
Steve Fantozzi's expertise as a grower is legendary. Steve worked for Château Saint Jean for over 20 years as their grower relations manager, Steve has managed his own Vineyards' and his mothers vast Vineyards' and the Carneros since he was 21 years old... That's a long time ago. So when he offered to sell us some of his prized Chardonnay we couldn't resist, I believe the Carneros region to be best suited to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and in my opinion, and Sonoma Cutrer, it easily rivals anything from the Russian River Valley or Anderson Valley.
